In Hengjang, Manipur, the Army organized a lecture on Women Empowerment followed by a spirited volleyball match, which witnessed enthusiastic participation from the local community.
In a series of operations, the Indian Army and Assam Rifles formation under Spear Corps launched intelligence-based operations in the hill and valley districts of Manipur and recovered 114 weapons, Improvised Devices (IEDs), grenades, ammunition and war-like stores.
The Trishakti Corps of the Indian Army, tasked with securing Sikkim and the strategically crucial Siliguri Corridor, successfully conducted a month-long live-firing exercise featuring T-90 tanks.
With an aim of honouring the sacrifices and valour of Veer Naris and Veterans, the Indian Army conducted ‘Gaurav Yatra’, a motorcycle rally, covering over 1000 kilometres.
There were many firsts in this exercise which cemented the jointness and synergy among the Indian Army, the Indian Air Force and the Border Security Force (BSF).

The exercise witnessed use of multifarious firing platforms in an integrated manner involving both ground & aerial maneuvers.
"The exclusive ‘Intellectual Property Rights (IPR)’ of the Design and Camouflage Pattern now rests solely with the Indian Army, and therefore manufacturing by any vendor who is not authorised to do so will be illegal and is liable to face legal repercussions," the Ministry said.
