Terming the furore as "politics by another means," Jaishankar, in an interview with ANI, said, "Sometime politics of India doesn't even originate in its borders, it comes from outside."
Stating that the intent behind the release of the documentary was to "make India fall into pieces", Arif Mohammed Khan said that the British had predicted at the time of India's independence that it was not capable of preserving its freedom
Even as the Youth Congress exhibited the documentary, AK Antony's son expressed his displeasure over the development saying it amounts to placing views of British broadcasters over Indian institutions, which he said, will undermine the country's sovereignty.
