"The incentive scheme, especially for micro and small enterprises, named Banglashree Scheme, is indeed unique as compared to other states in India. Several new schemes, including subsidy even for expansion and renovation of existing plants and machineries, have been introduced," said the Chairman of the CII, North Bengal Zonal Council, Sanjit Saha.
The court also expressed displeasure over the fact that out of 11,645 sanctioned posts of doctors in the state, 8,768 are lying vacant, 5,674 of which fall in the rural, remote or difficult areas.
Under the affirmative action, industry bodies have voluntarily committed to ensuring equal opportunities for members of Scheduled Cast and Scheduled Tribes communities.
