The Ratapani wildlife sanctuary officially became the eighth tiger reserve of Madhya Pradesh on Friday, Chief Minister Dr Mohan Yadav inaugurated it by lighting a lamp and leading an environment and heritage conservation bike rally.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated R J Sankara Eye Hospital in his parliamentary constituency and claimed that the hospital would wipe out the darkness and lead many people towards light. He also took a walkthrough of the exhibition organised for the occasion.
The exhibition features 157 stalls from 55 Khadi institutions and 102 village industries units representing various states, including Delhi, Rajasthan, Bihar, Tamil Nadu, Maharashtra, Gujarat, Odisha, Madhya Pradesh, Bengal, Haryana, and Jammu.
A 19-seater Fly Big aircraft took its first flight from Munda Pandey airport at 10:10 am on Saturday morning for the state capital Lucknow with six passengers.
