Delhi Food and Supplies Minister Imran Hussain on Monday chaired an important meeting with officers and engineers of the Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD) and reviewed the status of works under MLALAD schemes pertaining to his Ballimaran Assembly constituency.
Hussain reviewed the boring work being carried out by the DJB and directed the officials to complete the work fast in view of the water requirements of the area.
Imran Hussain directed officials to ensure expeditious lifting of food grains from FCI godowns and transporting them to the respective fair price shops every month smoothly and uninterruptedly.
On this occasion, the minister himself interacted with residents to resolve their grievances and asked the BSES officials to expedite the work of installing electricity meters.
Delhi Government appealed to the beneficiaries to approach the Food Department for redressal of their grievances through Helpline Number 1967.
The 44 teams will comprise SDMs, officers from the municipal corporations, Delhi Pollution Control Committee (DPCC), Delhi Environment Department, Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB), and the Union Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change.
