They also said that the concerns expressed by the Vistara pilots are not isolated incidents but rather indicative of systemic issues that extend across various Tata Group aviation entities.
This latest development comes amid reports that airline’s employees are preparing to bid for the airline in partnership with a private equity fund and each employee will be asked to contribute Rs 1 lakh towards the bid.
The Indian Commercial Pilots Association (ICPA), in a letter to Rajiv Bansal, Chairman and Managing Director, Air India on Friday, said that around 50 pilots have received illegal termination letters from the Personnel Department in blatant violation of company's operation manual and service rules.
