Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Thakur Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu inaugurated the first 750-kilowatt solar power project at Dharamshala in Kangra district on Friday, built at a cost of Rs. 4.74 crore.
Chief Minister Thakur Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu, while chairing a review meeting of Himachal Road Transport Corporation (HRTC) here on Tuesday, directed the officers to expedite the purchase process of e-buses.
Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Thakur Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu, while chairing the review meeting of the Finance Department here on Tuesday, said that the state government was ensuring ideal financial management. He said that the state government has taken effective steps towards financial discipline during its two-year tenure.
Former Chief Minister and Leader of the Opposition, Jai Ram Thakur, said that the grand claims made by the state government leaders are proving to be baseless.
Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Thakur Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu said that the present state government has disbursed Rs. 32.32 crores through the Himachal Pradesh Building and Other Construction Workers Welfare Board (HPBOCW).
This collaboration aims to enhance academic exchange between the two institutions thus benefiting the students of both the universities.
"The state government is harnessing modern technology to strengthen the bond between the devotees and the Shaktipeeths of Himachal Pradesh. With the onset of Navrataras, these online tools can be a blessing for the devotees, who are unable to visit these temples in person," he said.
He said the total trout production in 2022-23 was 1170.50 metric tonne and in 2023-24 it rose to 1388 metric tonne, whereas in the year 2021-22, the total trout production was 913.50 metric tonne.
Following demonstrations held outside the Deputy Commissioner’s office in Shimla, a peaceful protest march was also taken out up to Sher-e-Punjab.
