Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Thakur Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu inaugurated the first 750-kilowatt solar power project at Dharamshala in Kangra district on Friday, built at a cost of Rs. 4.74 crore.
Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Thakur Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu, while chairing the review meeting of the Finance Department here on Tuesday, said that the state government was ensuring ideal financial management. He said that the state government has taken effective steps towards financial discipline during its two-year tenure.
"Tenders have been invited for setting up seven solar power projects of total capacity of 72 MW, which are being evaluated," he said, adding that their work would be allotted to the concerned companies this month. Apart from this, survey and investigation of eight projects of 325 MW is going on, he added.
