The patient under home isolation will stand discharged and end isolation after at least 7 days from testing positive and they shall continue wearing masks. There is no need for re-testing after the home isolation period is over.
He said that 200 oxygen concentrators will be set up in each of the 11 districts, which will be delivered in 2 hours to patients in need.
From time to time, health workers, multi-tasking staff, nurses and doctors all clad in their PPE gear from head to toe and all looking almost identical in these outfits would come, check on the patients, push injections or administer medicines and oxygen, or help take them to the toilets in wheelchairs. Their dedication, commitment and endurance were much beyond the call of mere duty.
All district magistrates have been told to set aside enough number of officials to sort out the applications and ensure that those eligible receive their e-pass on priority.
