Choti Holi and Holika Dahan will be observed on March 7 (Tuesday). It should be performed during Pradosh Kaal (which starts after sunset) while Purnimasi Tithi is prevailing, as per Hindu beliefs.
This year, Holi will be celebrated on March 9 and 10. Holika Dahan is on Monday, 9 March 2020, followed by Holi on Tuesday, 10 March.
The day is mainly celebrated in the memory of ‘Prahlad’ who depicts the victory of good over evil by defeating his aunt ‘Holika’.
