The Chief Minister said that the Centre as well as the state government is concerned about the career of these students and would strive to find out a way to ensure that the careers of the students do not get affected.
Thakur informed the house during Question Hour on a query by Congress members Harshvardhan Chauhan and Vinay Kumar.
The official said Thakur was under observation of senior doctors of the Institute and would be discharged within a day or two.
A state government official said Thakur has been admitted in AIIMS, New Delhi for a routine check-up on the advice of doctors.
The Congress members, however, insisted to address the issue immediately and started raising slogans against the government. They later walked out of the House.

Addressing a public meeting in Doon assembly constituency of Solan district, Thakur said a kind of history was created when the BJP won in all the 68 Vidhan Sabha areas during the Panchayati Raj elections.
“There is a competition between the leaders of Congress to exhibit their supremacy to catch the attention of their central leadership,” he added.
The chief minister said that in the last few years, technology has virtually transformed the lives of people. He said Prime Minister Narendra Modi had given a vision of Digital India in 2014.
