The Chief Minister said that the Centre as well as the state government is concerned about the career of these students and would strive to find out a way to ensure that the careers of the students do not get affected.
Thakur informed the house during Question Hour on a query by Congress members Harshvardhan Chauhan and Vinay Kumar.
The official said Thakur was under observation of senior doctors of the Institute and would be discharged within a day or two.
A state government official said Thakur has been admitted in AIIMS, New Delhi for a routine check-up on the advice of doctors.
After a review meeting of Covid-19 situation in Sirmour district from Nalagarh in Solan district, Thakur said over 90 per cent of Covid-19 patients were under home isolation and doctors must ensure their proper treatment and regular monitoring.
He also announced sops for ailing tourism and transport sector which were badly affected in Covid pandemic while addressing state level Himachal Day function at Padhar in Mandi district.
After a review meeting of Covid-19 situation in Mandi and Kullu districts, Thakur said work on prefabricated hospitals at Bangrotu and Mother-Child Hospital, Mandi must be expedited and completed at the earliest so that ICU bed capacity could be increased.
After 11th meeting of HP Tourism Development Board, Thakur said Himachal was blessed with immense tourism potential and the focus of the government was to provide best tourism infrastructure to the tourists visiting the state.
