The Chief Minister said that the Centre as well as the state government is concerned about the career of these students and would strive to find out a way to ensure that the careers of the students do not get affected.
Thakur informed the house during Question Hour on a query by Congress members Harshvardhan Chauhan and Vinay Kumar.
The official said Thakur was under observation of senior doctors of the Institute and would be discharged within a day or two.
A state government official said Thakur has been admitted in AIIMS, New Delhi for a routine check-up on the advice of doctors.
Thakur said that the budget would strengthen the developmental infrastructure and at the same time make effective use of digital technology for ensuring holistic and inclusive development process.
Later, while addressing the public meeting the Chief Minister said that with the construction of new bridges and roads in the valley, various places would be developed as tourist places which would boost tourism in the area.
He also thanked the Union government for according approval to the proposals of about Rs 10,620 crore of various externally aided projects in Himachal during the last four years.
Union Minister of Information and Broadcasting Anurag Singh Thakur said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi has special benevolence towards the State and its people.
After a review meeting on Covid situation in Bilaspur, Thakur said doctors, paramedical staff and other health workers must bring a behavioural change in their attitude while treating Covid patients both in health facilities and in home isolation.
