“In times to come, the BJP will conspirire with the LG to make electricity expensive in Delhi. I promise on behalf of the AAP and Arvind Kejriwal that we will not let the price of electricity increase in the national capital," she asserted.
Delhi Transport Minister Kailash Gahlot said, "In response to the long-pending demands of the Delhi Petrol Dealers Association and to keep up with the rising costs of pollution checking services, we have decided to revise the rates.”

The hike in the price of fruits and vegetables comes as the country is witnessing a surge in fuel prices, including Compressed Natural Gas (CNG). In Gujarat's Surat, the price of lemon has gone up to Rs 300 per kilogram due to increased demand and shortage in supply.
Consequently, in the past 15 days, petrol prices have increased by Rs 9.40 per litre in the national capital. These prices were revised for the very first time on March 22 after a gap of more than four months.
In a video message, the CM also directed schools against making parents buy school textbooks and uniforms from particular shops and instead asked them to make available details of all such shops in the concerned area so that parents can choose a shop of their choice.
An official spokesperson said in 2015, a total of 15,55,440 beneficiaries were given Rs 1000 per month, whereas today the number of beneficiaries has increased to 28,57,529 and the pension has increased to Rs 2500 per month.
