In compliance with the guidelines issued by the Ministry of Road Transport and Highways, the Haryana Police has launched a new initiative under which accident victims will now receive free treatment in the initial golden hour.
The squad’s strength has been increased from 36 to 63 trained dogs, each equipped with advanced training to aid in solving crimes and catching criminals.
Meanwhile, the Haryana Police has also claimed that 12 of its personnel sustained injuries after being attacked by farmers.
The protesting farmers have urged Prime Minister Narendra Modi to allow them to hold peaceful protests in Delhi.
Haryana Police has busted an illegal Doda post (poppy husk) plantation and seized over 2.98 quintal plants of Doda post being grown in a field in the Kaithal district.
He said police had received information that the arrested accused and her son, identified as Gagandeep, were trying to bring fake currency notes from Punjab to supply in the town.
"A primary probe revealed that more than 30 cases pertaining to robbery, dacoity, cow slaughter, attempt to murder, ATM loot or under gangster act were registered against him in Haryana, Gujarat, Uttar Pradesh, Rajasthan and West Bengal,"
The arrested accused were identified as Anshu, a resident of Meerut (Uttar Pradesh), Somya of Bharatpur (Rajasthan) and Ashutosh of Noida (Uttar Pradesh).
Meanwhile, Director General of Police Haryana, PK Agrawal said with the start of e-commerce, the demand for online shopping has increased manifolds.
