In compliance with the guidelines issued by the Ministry of Road Transport and Highways, the Haryana Police has launched a new initiative under which accident victims will now receive free treatment in the initial golden hour.
The squad’s strength has been increased from 36 to 63 trained dogs, each equipped with advanced training to aid in solving crimes and catching criminals.
Meanwhile, the Haryana Police has also claimed that 12 of its personnel sustained injuries after being attacked by farmers.
The protesting farmers have urged Prime Minister Narendra Modi to allow them to hold peaceful protests in Delhi.
He urged the people to be aware of such fake job rackets as they cannot buy jobs with money.
The arrested accused and his accomplices used to manufacture illegal weapons sitting in raw drains in the fields and sell them for about Rs 3,000 to 4,000.
Haryana Police has arrested four persons and recovered 10 illegal weapons and 15 cartridges from their possession in Mahendergarh district. A Haryana Police spokesperson on Friday said the arrested accused have been identified as Sanjay aka Sanjeev and Rahul aka Junior, both residents of Saidpur, Vipin of Neerpur, Ateli and Ravindra aka Ravi of Beghpur.
A case under Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act has been registered against the accused and further investigation is underway, he added.
The spokesperson said that accused Deep Singh who was arrested in connection with the recovery of five quintals of poppy husk is still lodged in jail.
