Union Minister Hardeep Puri on Tuesday said he was confident India would emerge stronger from the fallout of the US administration tariffs once the bilateral trade agreement between the two partner countries is finalised.
Union Minister Hardeep Puri, who is in the US to hold discussions on energy cooperation has lauded the partnership between the two countries stating that New Delhi draws great strength from this cooperation on sustainable energy.

Highlighting the success of India’s ethanol blending programme, Union Minister for Petroleum & Natural Gas Hardeep Singh Puri said here on Monday that since its inception, the ethanol blending percentage has surged from 1.53% in 2014 to 15% in 2024.

The Union minister for petroleum & natural gas said the country's energy demand would continue to provide fuel for future economic growth and was bound to grow exponentially in the coming years.
"As the Prime Minister has said that it will be a major scheme, which will provide some form of interest subvention. We will come with the final detail of the scheme very soon,” Puri told reporters at a media briefing here.
