State Health Department stated in a press statement that, "H1N1 and H3N2 are subtypes of Influenza A virus . It's common flu virus quite common in children and elderly from December to March.
In a letter to states/UTs, Union health secretary stressed the adherence to respiratory and hand hygiene to contain the transmission of these diseases.
People have been instructed to wear masks and maintain proper hygiene to avoid the virus infection.
