Union Minister of State for Finance Pankaj Choudhary said that the GoM included ministers from states like Karnataka, Bihar, Kerala, Goa, Uttar Pradesh, Rajasthan, West Bengal. This GoM takes decisions unanimously.
Around 24 farmer unions under the banner of Sanyukt Kisan Manch (SKM) staged protests at Rohru, Theog, Kotkhai, Narkanda, Rampur of Shimla district, Nirmand in Kullu, Kinnaur and Mandi districts.

The KCCI demanded that the government should give all benefits to Kashmir Handicrafts and declare it a Special Economic Zone.
After a one-time adjournment, as soon as the sitting of the House began at 2 pm, there was ruckus and sloganeering from the Opposition parties. Opposition members were seen raising slogans against inflation and demanding that the government withdraw its decision to impose GST on several essential packaged food items.
