Union Home Minister Amit Shah on Wednesday held a review meeting with Goa Chief Minister Pramod Sawant regarding the feedback of BJP's "Maha Jansampark" Abhiyan and preparations for the 2024 Lok Sabha elections were also discussed.

The Congress on Wednesday slammed the BJP-led coalition government for the confusion ahead of the state's most important Hindu festival, especially at a time when Covid cases have witnessed an increase in the neighbouring state of Maharashtra.
The Sawant-led administration has promised 10,000 jobs to local youth ahead of the 2022 state assembly polls.
Goa CM also advised people to adopt precautions during the upcoming Ganesh Chaturthi festivities.
Sawant also said that the Goa government would be starting a coding and robotics module in the state's schools in the coming academic year.
Sawant's comment comes two days after the Union Health Ministry dropped ivermectin from its list of drugs to be used while treating Covid patients.
