Union Home Minister Amit Shah on Wednesday held a review meeting with Goa Chief Minister Pramod Sawant regarding the feedback of BJP's "Maha Jansampark" Abhiyan and preparations for the 2024 Lok Sabha elections were also discussed.
Goa Chief Minister Pramod Sawant on Wednesday said that this year's budget will be realistic and futuristic, which will focus on areas like education, healthcare, sanitation, tribal welfare and other areas.
Earlier, ahead of assembly election in February 2022, the BJP had assured government jobs to the youths of the state. It was BJP's key poll plank.
On Monday, Goa CM met BJP national president J.P Nadda and Home Minister Amit Shah for a meeting which was also attended by the new MLAs except for Michael Lobo (MLA).
Earlier on Saturday, Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar assured Sonali Phogat's family of a CBI probe into the actor's death.
He said that oceans have major role in our every day life. Oceans are a major source of food, medicines, and are critical part of our biodiversity.
"I am wondering whether CCS conduct rules should be applied to teachers in Goa in the interest of the students. We are worried about the future of the children," Sawant said.
Khaunte said the state government plans to make the coastal state among the top 25 destinations for start-ups in Asia by 2025.
Sawant also said that there was need to preserve the state's environment for posterity with a focus on the next 50 years.
