In July last, the Counter-Terrorism Department (CTD) of the Punjab Police had registered 23 FIRs against Saeed and his 12 accomplices on charges of 'terror financing' in different cities of Punjab province and arrested the JuD chief.
Saeed's assets had been frozen after the UNSC sanctioned him under Resolution 1267 for links with the Al Qaeda and Islamic State (IS).
The reports come as India recently declared JeM chief Masood Azhar and three others are terrorists under the Unlawful Activities Prevention (Amendment) Act.
All of the four individuals are involved in terrorist attacks in India and have been designated as global terrorists under the United Nations, an MHA statement said on Wednesday.
