Madhya Pradesh Congress Chief Jitu Patwari announced on Friday that the party will launch a ‘Kisan Nyay Yatra’ and gherao the offices of Collectors in all 55 districts of the state on 20 September to demand a hike in the Minimum Support Price (MSP) for farmers.
The AAP, which looks at the incident as a reflection of Delhi's deteriorating lawlessness, demanded resignation of Lieutenant Governor VK Saxena as a representative of the Centre whose responsibility it is to maintain law and order in the city.
The former AIADMK leader has been protesting on the Cauvery issue since last week.
