The Uttar Pradesh government on Wednesday transferred 11 senior IPS officers in the state, including Police Commissioners of Ghaziabad and Agra.
Uttar Pradesh BJP President Bhupendra Singh Chaudhary has issued a show cause notice to BJP MLA Nandkishore Gurjar from Loni Assembly segment in Ghaziabad district over alleged anti-party activities.
The police have apprehended a youth for the murder of his brother in Matiala village of South West Delhi over alleged a monetary dispute, the police said on Friday.

"The body has been sent for postmortem. A case has been registered," said DCP Rural, Ghaziabad Ravi Kumar.
One of the accused, Asghar Nibasi, was shot in the leg and was arrested, while a bike, illegal weapons, knife, and rope was seized.
So far, 40 railway stations are said to have been renovated with all modern facilities for the passengers.
Family has not suspected any foul play in the matter. An inquiry is being carried out to ascertain the cause of suicide.
