The Special Investigation Team (SIT) probing the murder of activist-journalist had arrested Devdikar last month from his hideout at Katras in Dhanbad district of Jharkhand.
Gauri Lankesh, a senior journalist, was murdered in her home in Bengaluru on September 5, 2017.
After the hearing, the Congress leader told reporters, 'I am being attacked and I am enjoying the fight'.

It is not advisable to indulge in the misadventure of restraining the dissenting behaviour or voices.
“I think it is scary to be a journalist in today's world, especially if you are doing investigative journalism. But at the same time, it is very necessary,” she said.
Dabholkar was killed on August 20, 2013 in Pune and Lankesh was killed on September 5, 2017 and police suspect both the murders are connected.
While two men -- Amit Raghavendra Baddi and Ganesh Miski -- were arrested from Hubballi, one Rajesh D Bangera was arrested from Madikeri.
The suspects were produced before a metropolitan court, which remanded them in SIT custody till August 6 for further investigation.
