“A joint team of administration and the police demolished the illegal construction of both the accused,” Satna district collector tweeted on his official twitter handle.
The girl had not returned home from her tuition classes yesterday evening and her worried parents had started a search and lodged a missing person diary at Polba police station.
The case has been reported in the Koramangala police station.The police have arrested a gang of four persons in connection with the case.
The incident is said to have involved pupils in grades 11 and 12 from politically powerful families. A son of a legislator is also thought to be a member of the gang.
According to the police, the victim's brother-in-law on the pretext of helping her purchase medicines took her to a hotel nearby and gave her soft drinks laced with sedatives. There the brother-in-law and his associate raped her.
All three accused involved in the Sunday incident have been arrested by the police.
"We are waiting for the statement of the victim. She is under treatment. As soon as she gathers consciousness, we will record her statement. It will help us to identify the accused," DSP, Gaya (Sadar) said.
During the confinement, the four men raped her every day and dropped her at the Ballabhgarh bus stand on July 8, from where she called her family members.
The offenders, who confessed to the crime, told the interrogating police they authored the crime in an inebriated state, police said.
