Ljungberg also stated that they can only taste success after they sort out the “difficult” phase that the club is going through at the moment.
Arteta, who played for Arsenal from 2011-2016, has spent the last three years as an assistant to Pep Guardiola at Manchester City.
Although the Gunners have sacked Unai Emery, their decision does not seem to be having any effect on their performance.
