Former Delhi CM Madan Lal Khurana cremated

The Delhi government on Sunday declared a two-day state mourning as a mark of tribute to Khurana.

Delhi Lieutenant Governor Anil Baijal and Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal also expressed condolence over the senior leader's death.

He had suffered a brain hemorrhage about five years ago and was ailing since then. His last rites would be held Sunday, his family said.

Dikshit suffered a shock defeat in the 2013 Assembly polls at the hands of Kejriwal, who went on to become the Chief Minister.
