As many as 39 passenger trains to Delhi are running behind schedule as dense fog conditions continue to prevail in the national capital, resulting in low visibility, railway officials said on Friday.
On Saturday, the maximum temperature in Delhi recorded 15.2 degrees Celsius, which was four notches lesser than season's average, India Meteorological Department said.
Delhi recorded a maximum of 9.6 degrees Celsius at Palam, 8.9 degree in Safdarjung.

The Meteorological Department has expressed the possibility of the cold wave being intensified as mercury is falling in several districts of the state with increasing fog.
All recognised schools are to open from 10 am till 2 pm for class 1 to class 8 in view of the cold wave in the state.
According to IMD data, places like Sri Ganganagar and Churu in Rajasthan also recorded low visibility of 25 and 50 meters, respectively.
At 5:30 am, visibility was 100 metres at Palam and 200 metres at Safdarganj, two Delhi weather stations.
