In a statement, Flipkart said it has added Google as a "minority investor" in the e-commerce platform as part of the latest funding round led by Walmart.
E-commerce marketplace Flipkart on Sunday launched its Unified Payments Interface (UPI) handle to further enhance its digital payment offerings for all customers, including its 500+ million customers.
“To sweeten the deal, realme is offering limited-time offers worth Rs 3,000+ on the pre-order of the realme 12+ 5G (8GB+128GB),” the company informed.
According to the report by RedSeer, transactions recorded by Unified Payments Interface (UPI) surged about 40 per cent in October from a year earlier.
The team will work towards accelerating the company's efforts to provide deeper camera experiences, virtual storefronts and new opportunities for brand advertising on its platform.
The promoter and promoter group companies of ABFRL will hold about 55.13 per cent upon completion of the issuance.
Flipkart Group will strengthen the range of brands offered on its e-commerce platforms Flipkart and Myntra.
The company said that it also launching a Gift Card Store catering to customer needs across 60 brands such as Joyalukkas, Kalyan Jewellers, Croma, FabIndia and KFC among others.
The huge growth of e-commerce is driven by consumers living in tier-2 and tier-3 cities of India.
