The event was attended by Lieutenant General Sanjay Malik, GOC, 101 Area, and Air Marshal Inderpal Singh Walia, SASO, Eastern Air Command.
The targeted release of onion from the government’s buffer aims at making the essential vegetables available to consumers at affordable prices.
The state-of-the-art Vande Bharat Express trains will improve connectivity on three routes: Meerut-Lucknow, Madurai-Bengaluru, and Chennai-Nagercoil, in the States of Uttar Pradesh, Tamil Nadu and Karnataka.
The main program was organized at Meerut City Station after the train left from platform number one at 12:55 pm when PM Narendra Modi flagged off the train virtually.
The expedition was flagged off by Dipti Mohil Chawia, Additional Secretary, MoD in the national capital on Tuesday.
The Railway Station is developed at a cost of Rs 241 crore and has world class facilities.
The Ganga Vilas luxury cruise, which left Kolkata on December 22, reached Ramnagar Port in Varanasi on Tuesday.
