The incident occurred on September 18, when the police received a call at Police station Jaffarpur, Dwarka that firing had taken place.
Both the suspects -- Mandeep and Rahul -- were apprehended by the police along with the seizure of a stolen bike which was used in the commission of the crime.
The police said a PCR call was received regarding the incident wherein the caller said that three people came in a car and fired at his nephew, Vikas and fled leaving the vehicle behind. The injured was shifted to the hospital, it added.
According to DCP South, it was on Sunday night around 8.48 pm when a PCR call was received regarding the firing, and the beat staff who was on patrol duty, immediately swung into action and nabbed one of the accused after a hot chase.
Singh said the police will file a report in the court and legal action against the complainant will also be taken for filing a false complaint.
