In a drastic move to curb paper leaks and cheating in public examinations, the Odisha Cabinet headed by Chief Minister Mohan Majhi on Wednesday approved the framing of a new legislation to curb multiplicity of exam-related irregularities.
In separate filings, the IOC, HPCL, BPCL, GAIL, OIL and MRPL said they have been slapped with a fine of Rs 536,900 each for the fourth quarter. ONGC faced a fine of Rs 182,900.
It is to be noted that since last April, as many as eight tail strike incidents were reported on IndiGo’s A321s.
The concerned school has been instructed to deposit the penalty amount within five days and submit the report.
