The JNU administration reiterates that a group of masked students came to CIS Data Centre premises on January 3 and forcibly evicted the technical staff, switched off the power supply, locked the premises.
The students have been asking the administration to roll back the fee hike and as a sign of protest, have been boycotting the exams and the registration process.
JNU VC M Jagadesh Kumar urged the students on Tuesday to put the past behind them and return to the university premises.
A hostel draft manual has become a bone of contention between students and varsity administration since October 28 when the administration didn't allow the JNUSU to attend the IHA committee meeting that was to clear it.
