Kash Patel is set to make history Thursday when the Republican-led US Senate votes to confirm him to head the FBI, the country’s premier investigating agency.
The US Senate on Wednesday confirmed Tulsi Gabbard, a former Congresswoman, as the Director of National Intelligence (DNI), who oversees the country’s 18-member intelligence community, including the CIA and the NSA.
"Wow! In the raid by the FBI of Mar-a-Lago, they stole my three Passports (one expired), along with everything else," Trump wrote on Monday on the Truth Social network he co-founded, dpa news agency reported.
The judge authorized the FBI to search what the bureau called the "45 Office" as well as "all other rooms or areas" at Mar-a-Lago that were available to former President Trump and his staff for storing boxes and documents.
However, neither the FBI nor the US Justice Department have made any comments on the raids at Trump's house.
The letter was forwarded by Massachusetts Gen. William Heath to state leaders, along with a request for troops to support French allies.
