CM Mohan Yadav informed that the state government has already banned the burning of crop residue.
The campaign was launched by the Traffic and Road Safety Wing of Punjab Police under the directions of Director General of Police (DGP) Punjab Gaurav Yadav.
Saini stated that the state government is consistently making decisions in the best interests of farmers.
In a major relief to the beneficiaries in the national capital, the Delhi Cabinet on Tuesday gave its nod to continue the power subsidy provided to farmers, victims of the 1984 anti-Sikh riots, chambers of lawyers, and existing domestic consumers enjoying such benefits.
To maintain seamless communication with farmers, the state government has operationalised mobile procurement centers that function even on Sundays and public holidays.
Chandumajra and Grewal also took objection to Rajewal's statement that only SAD legislators and MPs should have gone to protest in Delhi.
Pointing out that many farmers had died in these protests, the CM said it was high time the Central Government realised its blunder and withdrew the legislation in the interest of the farmers and the nation.
In his address after laying the foundation stone of government college at Mukhliana village in the Chabbewal assembly constituency at a cost of Rs 13.44 crore, he said the state where its entire people stood like a rock with them in favour of their legitimate issues, should desist from holding protests across the state against these "black" farm laws passed by the BJP-led Central government.
"The rallies not only divert people from the 'morcha', but also divides the people along political lines and could threaten the morcha of farmers against the three agriculture laws,"
"A peaceful protest will continue here at Karnal until the government takes action against the IAS officer. However, the administration will be allowed to function for daily services, so that the people are not affected,"
