Addressing a Press conference, the CM said though the three farm laws are yet to be implemented some politically motivated people are spreading rumours about these three laws.
“I share an excellent bonding with the brothers and sisters of the Sikh community. Even members of my family are regular visitors here. “I have already extended my support to the farmer's movement. We (TMC) have already demanded that these three farm laws be withdrawn. We won’t tolerate any injustice on farmers,”
Amarinder said there was no question of trying to split the farmers of Punjab and Haryana, all of whom were equal victims of the apathy of the Bharatiya Janata Party-led governments at the Centre and in the neighbouring state.
The government has already transferred Karnal sub-divisional magistrate Ayush Sinha, the Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officer who was caught on camera directing police to hit protesting farmers on their heads if they breached the security cordon.
