Union Minister Narendra Tomar on Sunday clarified that the government has no proposal or plan to bring back farm reform laws.
Speaking to ANI, Bachchan said, "My point is that such an important bill was passed in Rajya Sabha without any discussions. I do not understand the way the proceedings are going on in the Parliament."
This historic decision of the centre came today on the eve of Guru Purab. With few backlashes, the decision was mostly met with applause from country leaders and people all around India.
Vadra called the announcement as a sop given just before the elections for political gains.
Naidu said that the Prime Minister made a correct decision in response to the continued protests staged by the agitating farmers against the laws.
The three farm laws that were passed last year around the same time have been a cause of widespread agitation with a consortium of farmers staging a protest, especially in northwest India and at Delhi's doorsteps and earlier within the national capital too, demanding the government to repeal it.
