The government announced on 18 October that it would open 6,500 procurement centres to purchase paddy produced during kharif. So far, the government has opened only 2,500 centres.
These bills will be then introduced in the forthcoming session of Parliament beginning 29th November. A meeting of the Cabinet is scheduled on Wednesday.
The Bills for withdrawal of the laws shall then be introduced in the forthcoming winter session of Parliament which is scheduled to commence from November 29.
