Despite being granted interim bail by the Supreme Court in a separate Enforcement Directorate (ED) case, Kejriwal remains incarcerated due to the CBI's arrest related to the excise policy controversy.
The CBI told the court that Kejriwal didn't cooperate in the investigation and gave evasive replies.
A vacation bench of Rouse Avenue Court, comprising Justice Amitabh Rawat, stated that the Delhi CM will be produced before the court on June 29 before 7 pm.
The court gave both the petitioner, Kejriwal and the prosecuting agency Directorate of Enforcement, a week’s time to file their additional written notes.
He claimed the ED and the CBI have been unable to find any concrete evidence after two years of investigation.
His petition will be taken up by the high court's division bench for hearing on Wednesday (March 20).
