The Delhi government will provide an ex gratis of Rs One crore to the next of the kin of five Covid warriors, who lost their lives during the Corona epidemic, an official statement said on Saturday.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi has announced an ex-gratia for the victims of the bus accident in Tanahun district, Nepal. An ex-gratia of Rs 2 lakh from PMNRF will be given to the next of kin of each deceased and the injured will be given Rs 50,000.
According to the list of victims released by the district administration, the deceased included 106 devotees from 17 districts of UP, as well as one devotee each from Gwalior in Madhya Pradesh, Palwal in Haryana and Deeg in Rajasthan, as well as three from Faridabad.
The PM said that he has spoken to the officials to take stock of the situation.
