The Supreme Court on Tuesday reserved its order in the matter related to the constitutional validity of reservations for the Economically Weaker Section (EWS) in higher education and public employment on the basis of financial conditions.
It also allowed 10 percent EWS reservation for this year and for the upcoming years, the criteria will be decided in a final hearing on March 3.
The reservation is meant for undergraduate and postgraduate medical and dental courses from the current academic year
