All 78 evacuees from Afghanistan were allowed to go to their respective places after completing their 14 days of essential quarantine period at Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP) facility at Chhawla camp here.
"And there's not enough people to process all the evacuees. It can take up to an hour for the system to crunch the data and tell a screener whether a person is 'green'- cleared - or 'red' and a potential security risk, which has been part of the reason for the large backlog of evacuees stuck at bases now"
All the evacuees coming from Afghanistan will have to undergo quarantine for 14 days at the ITBP quarantine centre at Chhawla in southwest Delhi, according to the health ministry guidelines
Veerraju claimed that the Centre has given Rs 11,000 crore for Polavaram project and until now the state government has stated spending Rs 7,000 crore for building the dam and Rs 4,000 on the evacuees.
