US Ambassador, Eric M Garcetti, met with Rajasthan Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma on Monday at the Chief Minister's Office (CMO) in the state secretariat.
In his opening remarks, USI Director General B K Sharma highlighted the efforts being made by the USI to counter cyber threat.
US President Joe Biden first nominated Garcetti to become ambassador to India in July 2021, and the Foreign Relations Committee initially signed off on him in January 2022.
Earlier, in December, the White House updated Mayor Garcetti's nomination as ambassador to India update and said that they hoped that the full senate would confirm.
"The Mayor stands by his testimony unequivocally, and more than a dozen witnesses have testified under oath that he was never made aware of any improper behaviour."
The business at the building, called Smoke Tokes Warehouse Distributor, is "a supplier for those who make butane honey oil", according to officials.
