The game raised $36 million in its first day alone, and now, Epic Games revealed a final total of $144 million.
The company 2020 launched a fleet of 35 balloons in Kenya to provide service to over a 50,000 km region to subscribers of Telekom Kenya.
Apple yanked Fortnite from the iOS App Store in August last year after Epic added an alternative payment method to bypass the 30 percent cut that Apple takes from in-app purchases, Engadget reported on Wednesday.
The company said Houseparty will be discontinued in October when the app will stop functioning for its existing users; it will be pulled from the app stores on Thursday.
In the 'Operation: Sky Fire' event, which takes place on September 12 at 4 p.m. Eastern Time (ET), users will be able to team up with 15 friends and undertake a secret mission.
Apple fought that claim by saying that Epic's hit game Fortnite only made up 10 per cent of total revenue.
Epic includes both services as part of its Epic Online Services suite, which isn't tied to its own game engine or storefront.
Although Epic doesn't yet have AR hardware of its own, it has shown interest in the AR/VR space.
