Israel's Ministry of Environmental Protection and Ministry of Health revealed on Wednesday that it has detected, during a monitoring operation, mosquitoes that were later found to be infected with the West Nile virus.
The number of patients who died from the latest outbreak of West Nile fever in Israel has risen to four, with one new death case, the country's Ministry of Health has said.
The Ministry noted on Tuesday in a statement that the patient in the new case returned from Thailand last month, adding that he is in good condition.
