Three elephants were allegedly electrocuted after coming in contact with live wire traps laid by poachers in forest areas of Odisha’s Sambalpur district, a senior forest official said on Monday.
According to the police, a preliminary probe into the incident suggests that the woman, her father, and two children, got electrocuted at a flour mill in the Barmer district.
The deceased were identified as Muneeb, 25, Abrar, 19, and Rihan, 18, the SP said, adding the bodies were handed over to the families after postmortem.
