The development comes days after the BJP urged the poll panel to change the polling date on account of a long holiday.
Assembly elections in Haryana will be held in a single phase on 1st October. The counting of votes will take place on 4th October.
At least three representatives of each political party have been invited to meet the ECI at the Sher-e-Kashmir Convention Centre in Srinagar.
The ECI said the party is required to submit to it a report of contribution received in excess of Rs 20,000 in a financial year.
The ban will be effective 'from 7 am to 6.30 pm on October 21' when Haryana and Maharashtra goes to polls.
Sharing more information, joint chief electoral officer Inder Jeet said Monday was the last day for the withdrawal of nominations and with this, the Election Commission on Tuesday also allotted election symbols to various political parties contesting the Assembly polls -2019 in the state.
The question is whether holding of the panchayat polls at this point of time will bring down the temperature in Jammu and Kashmir.
Almost all political leaders of Jammu have been freed from house arrest nearly after two months of detention as the Jammu and Kashmir government announced Block Development Council polls.
Elections to the 90-member Haryana Assembly will be held on October 21 and results will be declared on October 24.
