Under the Extended Funding Facility (EFF) $7 billion bailout programme for Pakistan, it was agreed that a progress review would be done every six months.
Sri Lanka's economic recovery continues with real gross domestic product (GDP) posting three consecutive quarters of expansion, and growth accelerating to 5.3 per cent year-on-year in the first quarter of 2024, the International Monetary Fund (IMF) said on Friday.
Sri Lanka will have access to $337 million totalling $1 billion from the Extended Fund Facility (EFF) which the global lender agreed to in March last year.
