The tremors of the earthquake were felt across Delhi-NCR and some parts of Uttar Pradesh.
The NCS further said that the epicentre of the quake was 215 km north of Ayodhya at a depth of 10 km.
At least 125 people were killed and dozens left wounded after Friday's earthquake in Nepal that brought back the memories of April 2015 when thousands of people were killed after a devastating quake hit Gorkha district of the Himalayan nation.
The magnitude of the earthquake on the Richter Scale was recorded at 6.4 and the epicentre of the quake was in Nepal at a depth of 10 km.
